# On this day I finished my first novel.

Today, the 13th of January. 

Well, I guess it’s not really ***finished***, since it’s not in print or anything like that. But in my mind, the draft of the novel I finished today, after all of these years, feels good in a way that it hadn’t before and for the first time I think that I really got it down. 

Now, I might wake up tomorrow and have a panic about it. It might end up getting slashed in some future editing process, but damn it, it feels pretty good and settled to me today.
